Overlooking the Obvious
For over a year now, I've been struggling with how to manage my 2 year old's fine, flyaway hair. It always looks messy within minutes of fixing it. I even took her for a trim recently because a friend (and my stylist) suggested that it would make her hair appear thicker and more manageable. It definitely improved the look of the ends of her hair, and it did make it appear slightly thicker, but it was still baby fine and flyaway. I noticed that when she takes a bath in my tub, her hair seems more manageable. At first I credited her Leonor Greyl Fleurs D'Oranger shampoo with this change, but as much as I love that product, it's not responsible for the improvement in Lola's hair. When Lola plays in my tub, she likes to play with my products. Today, she rubbed some of my Bliss Body Scrub onto her belly, and she always smoothes some of my conditioner onto her hair, exactly the way she sees me do it. After trying every kind of organic all natural styling product under the sun, it came down to something as simple as using conditioner. That never occurred to me because her hair is not dry and doesn't get very tangled. I happened to pick up a bottle of California Baby Calming Conditioner a little while back, and I'm going to try it and see if it makes the difference I am hoping for, but I am very optimistic that conditioner is the answer!

Thank you! It really has. Everyone's asking me what I did to Lola's hair. It's so much smoother and less flyaway!
